There were several missed opportunities throughout the fleet but the On Course team with angler Dan Herrington managed to release the first blue marlin of the tournament to take the lead.  The Reel Captivating team pulled the hook on a marlin early in the day but angler Wayne Jenkins managed to catch a wahoo that weighed in at 53.6 lbs to put them in second place overall and first in the wahoo standings.  There were a handful of dolphin weighed including a 23.4 lb fish caught by John Rodrigues aboard the Walkabout that put them in second place in the dolphin standings.
